AI, AGI, and the path maze
Ai can only consider One path as as is the case with circuits and binary computers. They can only consider one path at once. They can do it very fast but not instantaneously. Likewise, we will reach AGI and the benefit of quantum computers is exploring multiple paths simultaneously to consider multiple facets, not sequentially or in serialization. But simultaneously that's a huge benefit because it means that we don't have to make a choice in order to proceed forward, we can consider all the possible choices first before that solution set of "potentiality" (see autaxys principles) collapses into a chosen solution "path"
That will be AGI. That's how the brain works. We don't consider thoughts serially we consider simultaneously. especially considering the quantum activity present in neuronal microtubules and in fact in all biologic cells. They can communicate without relying solely on physical processes like *physical* synaptic communication or in the case of computers electron conductivity or electrical conductivity. We can consider multiple thoughts at once. We can multitask at least in thought, not necessarily in practice. But quantum computers will...
Which come to think of it, given that Quantum activity has been found in human cells probably means that the brain and doesn't work quite as we think that neural networks actually don't need synapses to communicate quite the way we think. If the if neurons are, have microtubules and can engage in Quantum activity, that means they don't need those physical connections between them to communicate. They can communicate in complex networks that don't rely solely on physical pathways.
