Photosynthesis is cited as an example of quantum effects in nature and as I sometimes struggled to explain to lay people what the differences between current computers and quantum computers this is an attempt to help me figure it out. Almost all plant leaves are green and yet none of them are the same shade of green they are all slightly different but certain plants have patterns of green in them that distinguish them. And so all of this is like the analogy of the rheostat adiemus there is no honour of there is no single shade of green it depends and especially when you have things like very excited leaves, that pattern is also important in the instructions that help determine what is ideal or what is computed if you will for that plants photosynthetic process.
