**Project Code:** `AUTX-TAB` **Project Title:** Conceptual Framework for an Autaxic Table of Patterns **1. Introduction:** The concept of an "Autaxic Table of Patterns" arises from the hypothesis that autaxys, as a fundamental generative principle, produces a spectrum of stable, distinct process-patterns that constitute the fundamental "elements" of reality. This project aims to develop the conceptual framework for such a table, analogous to how the Periodic Table of Elements classifies atomic structures. The focus is on identifying the underlying organizational principles, derived from autaxys, that would govern the structure and content of this table. **2. Project Goals:** * To investigate and establish the core autaxic principles that determine the emergence, stability, and distinct properties of fundamental patterns. * To explore potential "quantum numbers" or descriptive parameters, derived from autaxys's dynamics (e.g., relational complexity, symmetry characteristics, resonance modes), that could classify these patterns. * To evaluate the "Ratio Resonance Stability Principle" (φm' ≈ πk') as a candidate organizing principle for the table, or to propose alternatives based on deeper autaxic mechanisms. * To outline the conceptual architecture of the Autaxic Table, including its potential dimensions, periods, groups, and the types of information it would encode for each pattern. * To define the relationship between patterns in the table and observed physical phenomena (e.g., fundamental particles, field excitations, potentially even more exotic autaxic structures). **3. Scope:** * Theoretical exploration of autaxys's pattern-generating dynamics ([Chapter 8](8%20The%20Generative%20Engine.md) of "A New Way of Seeing"). * Analysis of how autaxic meta-logic (intrinsic coherence, conservation of distinguishability, parsimony, etc.) constrains the variety and properties of stable patterns. * Development of a classification scheme for autaxic patterns. * Conceptual mapping of how known fundamental particles (and potentially the re-evaluated Î₁ pattern from AUTX-I1) might fit into, or inform, this table. * Identification of "gaps" or predicted new patterns based on the table's structure. **4. Expected Outcomes:** * A documented conceptual framework for the Autaxic Table of Patterns, including its proposed organizing principles and structure. * A preliminary classification scheme for fundamental autaxic patterns. * Identification of key theoretical questions and research directions for populating and validating the table. * A tool for generating new hypotheses about fundamental reality based on the table's predictive power. **5. Relation to Other AUTX Project Ideas:** This AUTX-TAB project will be strongly guided by [AUTX-METH](projects/AUTX/METH/_README.md) (Methodology) and will directly incorporate findings from AUTX-I1 (Infoton Re-evaluation), as Î₁ is a candidate for a primary entry in the table. It will also inform AUTX-METH by providing a concrete area for methodological application. ---
